Can I consult from outside Haryana?
Yes, from anywhere in India, in Hindi or English.
Can the doctor prescribe medicines online?
Yes, as the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines allow. Some medicines and some problems need an eye examination first; if so, the doctor will tell you.
Can glaucoma be diagnosed on a video call?
No. Glaucoma needs an eye pressure check, OCT and a visual field test. On a call the doctor can read these reports, review your drops and plan what to do next.
What should I keep ready?
Your old prescriptions, reports and eye drops, good light, and if possible someone to hold the phone close to your eye.
What if I need surgery?
The doctor will explain why and the options. If you choose SN Eye Hospital, tests and surgery are planned so you travel to Jagadhri as few times as possible.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your reports and the call are seen only by the doctor and the hospital team looking after you.
